What is Blackout Poetry?
Blackout poetry is made by blacking out words on a pre-existing text so that the only ones which remain visible create a poem of your own.
How Do I Get Started?
- Get a base poem to work with. Either get a random poem, search for a poem by title or enter custom text.
- Click on the words you want to keep in your new poem.
- When you are ready, click 'Blackout.'
- Save your poem by screenshotting! (In a future version you will be able to save & share directly from here.)
